AprilAire replacement 4978 Electrode Wires, 2-Pack.
In steam humidifiers produced from 2010-2015, the electrode wires used a D-shaped connector that could become loose over time, causing poor electrical conductivity within the canister. If your existing connectors are "D" style, replace them with with the new "O" style connector. Inspection should occur of the connector annually and should be replaced once in service for 36 months regardless of type, "O" or "D" style.
