Overview
The AprilAire 4091 nozzle and hose kit is located on the bottom of the humidifier, and is connected to the pump. The purpose of the feed hose is to supply water to the distribution tray. Over the course of time, chemicals within the water, and heat from your furnace damage the plastic. Therefore, the feed hose should be replaced every five to eight years, sooner if the hose is cracked or leaking.
