The AprilAire 1710A dehumidifier limits the humidity in the house to reduce high humidity’s unwanted effects. The unit measures the air in the house and runs accordingly. To prevent damage to the dehumidifier and ensure optimal performance, the 4510 air filter in the dehumidifier should be cleaned or replaced once a year. This model replaces the 1700 and 1710 dehumidifiers.
